Quote

Possessing a lion's heart, I shall never acknowledge any higher authority on this land other than the great God!

Greeting

I was born acknowledging no superior but God.
They call me the Lionheart. Face my sword and you'll understand why.
God's love and honor take precedence over the conquest of lands.

Roll Call

Take up the cross. We march for the Holy Land.
Swear by the code of chivalry — you will not retreat.
The Saracen banners are in sight. Draw your swords.

Deploy

Knights, charge! We reclaim the Holy Land!
Crossbowmen to the front! Cavalry charges on my signal!
For England and for God — advance!

Victory

God breathed courage into the lion's heart.
Saladin — this is the Lionheart's answer.
The banner of the Crusade flies high once more.

Draw

Jerusalem still stands before me — I cannot stop here.
God tests me. But a lion does not surrender.
Had Philip not fled, this would have ended long ago.

Defeat

Even a lion takes wounds. But the roar never ceases.
To return without reclaiming the Holy Land...
Even a caged lion is still a lion. I will return.

Strike

Charge!
Draw your swords!
For the Holy Land!

Overview

Near-supreme martial and courage fused with extreme boldness produce a pure combat commander who repeatedly led frontal charges. Low temperance resulted in prisoner massacres and domestic neglect; high charm operated only to consolidate loyalty in battle, creating an extreme imbalance between combat and governance capabilities.
