Quote

Constantly singing Aeneas's holy adventure escaping burning Troy, I merely pray for Augustus's peaceful Rome to be please eternal, isn't it.

Greeting

I sing of arms and the man.
Perhaps one day it will be pleasing to remember even this.
Fortune favors the bold.

Roll Call

Like the fate of Aeneas, this call cannot be refused.
The man who rose from the ashes of Troy has come.
I am ready to sing the founding of Rome.

Deploy

If I cannot move the heavens, I shall stir up Hell!
Raise anchor on the sea of fate!
Forward — to Italy!

Victory

Love conquers all things — let us too yield to Love.
From Troy to Rome — the long voyage is done.
Fate aided the bold.

Draw

The gates of Hell are open night and day — it is only the return that is hard.
We have simply not yet reached Latium.
The thread of fate has not yet been cut.

Defeat

Troy also fell. And yet Aeneas survived.
The will of heaven has simply not yet been revealed.
Even in dust and tears, the epic continues.

Strike

Burn with the flames of Troy!
Hurl the spear of fate!
Cut with the sword of Aeneas!

Overview

Supreme intellect combined with high temperance and diligence produced an extreme perfectionism that led him to reject his own masterwork. Low martial ability and a cautious disposition kept him clear of political conflict, while strong loyalty anchored him in a symbiotic relationship with the imperial order.
