Quote

When Heaven confers a great task, it shall certainly first discipline that mind with severe trials!

Greeting

Benevolence is man's comfortable dwelling; righteousness is his proper path.
When Heaven intends to confer a great responsibility, it first sends trials.
A great man is one who has not lost the child's heart.

Roll Call

I have cultivated my vast, flowing spirit.
The time to act with righteousness has come.
Win the hearts of the people and you win the world.

Deploy

Advance with the army of benevolence and righteousness!
Rectify injustice with compassion!
Spread the kingly way for the sake of the people!

Victory

The kingly way has defeated the tyrannical way.
He who practices benevolence has no enemies.
Heaven's timing and human harmony have converged.

Draw

The Way lies near, but you search for it afar.
Going too far is as bad as not going far enough.
The vast, flowing spirit does not break.

Defeat

Neither wealth nor power can sway my heart; neither threats nor force can bend my will.
To sacrifice life for righteousness — that, too, is a path.
The seeds of the four sprouts still live.

Strike

Cut with righteousness!
Push through with the vast, flowing spirit!
Crush injustice!
