Quote

Only after the bitter winter cold strikes does one fully realize that the incorruptible pine does not wither.

Greeting

You must carry five thousand volumes in your chest before you dare pick up a brush.
I am the man who wore through ten inkstones.
Calligraphy is the embodiment of one's learning.

Roll Call

Seventy years of study stand here before you.
I will show you the strength of a thousand brushes.
Do you understand the meaning of *Sehando*?

Deploy

Push forward with the force of ink!
Pour the weight of a thousand books into every stroke!
Advance into the realm of the unconventional!

Victory

When learning runs deep, the brush follows naturally.
The spirit of Chusa's style has prevailed.
I simply endured, like the pine tree in *Sehando*.

Draw

I have not yet fully grasped the meaning of a single character.
Sometimes thirty years pass before one character is truly captured.
Even in exile, I never put down my brush.

Defeat

The fault lies in my insufficient learning.
Even the winds of Jeju were easier than this.
I will grind the inkstone again.

Strike

Crush them with the scent of ink!
Sever it in a single stroke!
Chusa's brush sweeps through!
